Just like in other The Legend of Zelda titles, as you’re progressing through Echoes of Wisdom, you’ll be coming across a variety of items that you may not immediately know what to do with.
Monster Stones are a prime example of this as you may have some in your inventory but be confused as to what to do with them.
Below, we’ll reveal everything you need to know about Monster Stones in Echoes of Wisdom so you can get putting them to good use!
What are Monster Stones used for in Echoes of Wisdom?
There is only one use for Monster Stones in the game and this is to repair Automations that have broken.
You can’t do this on the fly though, you must visit Dampé who you first meet upon making your way through the Automation Engineer Dampé quest.
This NPC is the one that teaches you about Automations so it’s only fitting you’d return to them for repairing them.
You can repair Automations with Rupees but it will become costly so gathering and using Monster Stones instead will enable you to spend those Rupees on other important buys.
How to get Echoes of Wisdom Monster Stones
You might have some Monster Stones already in Zelda’s pockets but are unsure how they got there.
Well, the first reason why this may be is because they can simply drop from enemies that you kill throughout Hyrule. These are a rare drop from enemies though so do keep that in mind if you’re hoping to farm some.
Another couple of ways you can get Monster Stones is by opening chests and scanning Amiibo. Again, similar to that of felling enemies, these are a rare drop so don’t think you’ll be lining your pockets with hundreds right off the bat.
The final method of acquiring Monster Stones is by completing side quests. There are a select few of these that will reward you with the Stones so if you’re wanting that 100% completion, you’ll net some along the way!
