PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection price prediction
Unfortunately, there is no pricing currently available for the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection but what we can do is predict based on the cost of the basic units.
For the 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro console, we expect this to retail for around $1000. This is based on the fact that the regular PS5 Pro is priced at $700 and with the exclusive extras that are included, another $300 is probably about right.
The PS5 Digital Edition will likely be priced much less than that at around $600. We believe this because you can currently pick up a basic variant for around $400 so those additional inclusions and its exclusivity probably bump it up $200.
Moving to the Portal, the original retails for around $200 so because of the ‘Anniversary’ element, this will probably increase it to $275.
And finally, the controllers. The DualSense Edge actually sells for the same price as the Portal but we think it will probably come in $25 less at $250. For the regular DualSense, this will likely be the cheapest product at the lot at $100.
PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection release date
The complete PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will launch on November 21, 2024 and there will only be 12,300 units of the PlayStation 5 Pro Console – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition Bundle made so you’ll have to be lightning quick.
To ensure you get what you want though, there are some pre-orders taking place.
Due to there being a plethora of different products available in the Collection, there are varying pre-order dates.
For the PS5 Pro, PlayStation Portal, and DualSense Edge, pre-orders begin September 26, whereas the PS5 Digital Edition pre-orders will start October 10.
