Anthropic, the software and artificial intelligence (AI) company, is launching Claude Enterprise, a premium service meant to compete with chatbot rivals.
Claude Enterprise will offer an āexpanded 500K context window, more usage capacity, and a native GitHub integration,ā Anthropic said in a statement. Thatās supported with enterprise level security features to keep usersā data and work safe.
The updated subscription form of its Claude tool is meant to rival OpenAIās business solution, ChatGPT Enterprise. That is already on the market, with group subscriptions available via the ChatGPT team plan.
For bigger teams and bigger projects
Anthropicās news release announcing Claude Enterprise said it will build on the existing Claude Team plan already on offer. Claude Enterprise is effectively a higher volume AI assistant, allowing more messages with Claude; bulk upload capacity (from 100 page documents to 100,000 lines of code); and GitHub integration, to allow āengineering teams to brainstorm alongside your codebase, iterate on new features, onboard engineers, and debug issues.ā
Anthropic has said that Claude Enterprise will not be trained on customer data, similar to OpenAIās pledge to prospective teams. Claude Enterprise will also make use of Claudeās Artifacts feature to assist teams that are working on bigger projects.
Anthropic has not set a price point for Claude Enterprise yet.Ā TechCrunch spoke with Anthropic product lead Scott White, who confirmed Claude Enterprise will be more than the $30 per month that Claude Teams currently charges.
